This issue has not gotten the press coverage it deserved. Black farmers won their case, however settlement payments have been slow in coming. Many of the farmers are in poor health and elderly. The government is using a “stall and delay” tactic in making payments possibly hoping all of them will die off. Great article from the New York Times.
