Artistically & conceptually this is a fantastic video. I understand Miley is 17 years old and attempting to break from the “Hannah Montana” character. This video is a break. I think Miley has to understand that she is still a pre-teen icon and be conscious of that at least for the next few years as she matures and migrates her existing audience and expands it. This video is a tad too risqué for a 10-12 year old to watch. On her decision to forgo college and focus on her career, I do not agree. Where are her parents? She can still have a career and an education , there’s 3 months available in the summer to tour and winter break and other times to be in the studio. There are many kids who work and go to school, not just child stars. An education opens your mind. I think her decision is extremely short-sighted.
