Working Dads: Hidden Heroes in the New Fatherhood Movement

Mr. Glazer points out a community that is more than overlooked, men who are active in their children and family’s lives. The media generally covers all the negatives about us. The media generally covers us as irresponsible, immoral, distant, not active, and deadbeat. That is the exception, not the rule. Mr. Glazer writes about the majority of men who love their children and partner, is responsible, morally competent, more than active, and definitely support their family. I think the challenges and pressures men face are just as important as those women face, maybe more so because men are expected to be the bread-winner and protector of the family. That maybe an antiquated view, yet many men like myself was raised in that mold.
