I wholeheartedly believe this. Before, I moved from NYC I had really bad asthma and allergies, splotchy skin and psoriasis, and a nervous muscle twitch in my hands. Needless to say, since I moved the asthma is almost non-existent, my allergies are under control, my skin has cleared and I do not have any skin diseases, and my muscle twitch went away. My physician openly told me the environment that I lived in while in NYC (NYC Housing Project) caused my ailments. The air I was breathing irritated my lungs and skin which exacerbated my allergies causing what is called allergic asthma and the psoriasis. The twitch was being caused by the physical and mental stress I was under. Many do not have the ability to move, unfortunately so I implore you to become active in the community politically to bring this issue to light. In the meantime, buy hepa-air filters to use in the home, buy water filters (such as Brita & Pur), try to keep dust and dander to a minimum and when you do vacuüm or dust try to wear an N95 certified face mask, above all aet right and excercise.
