I learned how to swim while in kindergarten and have swum ever since. My father still does not know how to swim and if it was not for my mother would have drowned to death when they were in a car accident and he was thrown into a ditch. EVERYONE NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO SWIM!!! Especially, African-Americans we can still look good & buffed and still keep the hair intact while swimming. This tragedy and many others this summer could have been avoided. Call your local aquatic center or YMCA for lessons. It is not expensive.
