I have 6 of this man’s CD’s in my library. He was a rapper before we knew what rap was. His messages are timeless and are just as relevant today as it was in the ’60’s and 70’s. In my view Gil Scot-Heron and Frankie Beverly are two entertainers that do not get the accolades they deserve. Where are their lifetime achievement awards from BET or any other awards show?
