In the mid-70’s this was one of the preeminent r&b groups. I had to perform many of my dance routines to Gap Band songs during my parents’ card parties. Don’t deny that when you were a kid you sometimes were the entertainment for your parents parties! I digress. Yesterday, we lost Ronald Wilson-the bass player to a heart attack. This is a tribute to the “Godfather of the Bass guitar” and the memories of me shaking my booty to this and the other Gap Band songs in my youth.
