This comes from Nashville, TN but it can be anywhere. Communities and parents must be involved in their local school system policy creation. Black males are targeted early as hyperactive and having behavior problems; this unfair and imbalanced labelling results in lower academic achievement. Sometimes there is a potentially gifted student that is being victimized and marginalized educationally due to a lack of analysis and cultural understanding & sensitivity by the school board.
