Why we’re teaching ‘The Wire’ at Harvard

I was a devotee of “The Wire” during its 5 year run on HBO. Developing a class that integrates the show into the course curriculum is inventive and fascinating. This is the sort of creativity all American schools need on all levels, not just Ivy League institutions.
