Dr. Boyce Watkins hits another HOME RUN in this article!  I did not like the overtones in  “8 Reasons to Date a White Man” that Dr. Boyce is responding to. It makes my brothers seem like irresponsible failures and my sisters seem like out of touch gold-diggers. Neither is a truthful nor accurate description.  I’m open to dating women of all races. Personally, I prefer my beautiful Black Queens to consider marriage and children with. There’s a lot of truth in all 8 reasons, but ultimately there has to be an honest dialogue/communication between a man and a woman to make any relationship work. All pretensions, fronting, superficiality and everything/anything else has to be put aside to have that conversation. Understanding where  you have been individually and now, and where you both want to go together is an important in any relationship.
