Congratulations to Lt. La’Shanda Holmes! This has been a historic year in the U.S. Coast Guard for african americans. In May, Vice Admiral Manson K. Brown became Commander of Coast Guard Pacific Area and Coast Guard Defense Force West. Remember, we live history every day.
