It’s going to be extremely difficult to save when, for example:

1. We are unemployed/underemployed.
2. We are trying to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.
3. We need to find a job or get to the job which means we need gas in the car. $4/gallon, takes a big toll on the wallet.

Despite all of this, we still MUST figure out a way to save! This is a problem that just doesn’t affect African-Americans but all Americans who are not in the top earning 4%. Which is most of us.
