This illustrates my belief that the CA GOP hierarchy does not have a spine. There’s plenty of “backdoor” maneuvering to be done by the GOP for political gain against Democrats, however when it comes to cleaning up their own house it suddenly cannot be done. Couldn’t the national GOP leaders apply a certain amount of undisclosed “pressure” on the state leadership? Have they ever heard of  E-T-H-I-C-S V-I-O-L-A-T-O-N!
