Phrase suggesting black families stronger under slavery removed from Bachmann, Santorum pledge

Even though the phrase was taken out of the pledge the fact that Rick Santorum and Michelle Bachmann signed it in the first place reflects their view on African Americans, homosexuals, and Muslims. I find it interesting that Candy Crowley on CNN’s “State of the Union” didn’t press Rick Santorum more on the passage in her interview with him.
