This ballad brings back so many good memories. When it originally came out, it received massive airplay in our hometown of New York before it went national. This song is still a great snuggle up with that special person song.
This was one of THE jams in the ’80’s. Jody Watley is fantastic in this video. Those were some GOOD days.
Interesting list of companies. Diverse companies tend to have a more creative and adaptive workforce. That can translate into financial and business success.

I am not nor will I be a proponent of outsourcing. I know too many people whose jobs have gone overseas. I think American companies who make a regular practice of outsourcing jobs to foreign countries should be penalized. Companies should be fined for the practice, not receiving tax breaks. The GOP strikes again! 😦

This is something that if you are from the ‘hood you already know. To be adequately represented under the law takes money and lots of it. How many people do you know that did a stretch of time in prison for a mediocre non-violent crime that if they had just had access to a couple thousand dollars they would not have needed to do time at all? I have known of public defenders who actually nodded off to sleep during proceedings and actually told people I know that “… I don’t have a clue how to defend this…” Good article from Elizabeth Renter.

Interesting results. There’s a lot of people who like to quote scripture and impose their beliefs on others. This confirms that it may not be correct. People can be espousing their interpretation of faith, not what Scripture actually states.
