Congratulations to Desiree Rogers for becoming CEO of Johnson Publishing. Her business savvy and connections, as well as her flair for fashion will bring a much need breath of fresh air to our iconic magazines Ebony and Jet.
With Ms. Rogers assuming day-to-day operational control and the hiring of Amy DuBois Barnett as editor I anticipate a clear change of direction editorially as well as a “freshening” of the brand reaching out not just to their core audience but to the new younger generation also with a multimedia strategy. Congratulations!!
