Over 4 Years, Nearly 52,000 Police Stops in a Few Brooklyn Blocks
I was born & raised in New York. I lived in the neighborhood that this article talks about, in fact I was robbed twice in the neighborhood. It has never been the “Garden of Eden” however, there has to be a better tactic than, “Stop, Question, Frisk”. This reeks of violating a person’s civil rights and illegal profiling.

This is an excellent and informative op-ed by former President Bill Clinton and the Haitian prime Minister, Jean-Max Bellerive. The reconstruction of Haiti will take time, however the money must flow for the reconstruction to take place. The red tape must be cut and the needs of the people must take the highest priority.

When I was in first grade punishment consisted of standing in the back of the classroom and maybe doing a light calisthenics while in the back of the classroom. This is horrifying that handcuffs and other extreme security measures in schools are occurring. This event can damage little Ja’Briel’s and other children’s educational development into the future and needs to end.
