It’s not a secret that I hate driving. Being from New York has gifted me with an affinity for public transportation, except for Kansas City public transportation or the lack of. Since I have to drive everywhere I need to go I thought I would share my peeves. Here are 10 things I hate about driving:
1) Please don’t sit and drive in my blind spot. You make me nervous.
2) Don’t leave your turn signal on forever on the highway. I wanna pass you!
3) Don’t drive 40 mph in the fast lane. Save that for the slow lane. Move outta my way!!
4) I know you have that big truck or SUV but do you HAVE to tailgate me? I may have to stop suddenly. Hope you have insurance!
5) The posted speed limit is 70. I am doing 80, why are you passing me?
6) Red lights are meant to slowly come to a full stop. Not hit the brakes hard within 5 ft of the stop line. Likewise, yellow means to yield (lemme in fool!!!) or slow down.
7) Please hold your lane. Get off the phone or pull over and whup those kids a$$$.
8) Please get that muffler fixed. I can feel the cancer cells breathing your exhaust while driving behind you.
9) When it’s raining, snowing, foggy, or the sun has set. Turn on those damn headlights! I wear glasses I wanna be able to see you for real.
10) If its been raining hard for a time, please slow down! I know I will. I would like to arrive alive instead of wrecking with your crazy a$$$ going 10 miles above the speed limit.
This has been a public service announcement if you are a victim of my road rage.
