I was raised Roman Catholic but learned in high school (it was a seminary) to embrace all religions. Over time I have gained a great appreciation for Buddhism and have read many books on the subject (I have read Living Christ, Living Buddha written by Thich Nhat Hanh) and have taken up some Buddhist practices. In my view, Buddhism is the first self-help, self-improvement doctrine. Thich Nhat Hanh is an extremely wise man with a very simple message that people of all religions need to hear.
