Being a Black man in America unfortunately mean we have a target on our backs. What is especially heinous is the fact that when we are brutally murdered by law enforcement officials whose job is to “protect and serve” the legal establishment never punishes the officers to the fullest extent of the law. This verdict amounts to the jury saying “woops, the officer committed an accident…”  an accident that resulted in the loss of an innocent life. Involutary manslaughter? The gun crime sentencing enhancement amounts to “We don’t believe the defense but we have the guts to straight out convict…”   Damn, will there ever be any justice for a murdered black man? Hopefully the Department of Justice’s investigation will result in charges on the Federal level. I have included the video of Oscar Grant before he died. Is it murder or an accident? Did the jury actually review all the evidence with care and diligence?
