The NRA is an organization out of touch and has no historical perspective. The 2^nd Amendment was ratified at a time where everyone owned a musket and needed one for hunting so they can eat as well as for protection. If the founders were still alive, I’m sure they would support restricting a 100 round ammunition drum and assault weapons from the general population.  We don’t have to hunt to eat and all you need is a .22 caliber, .45 caliber or .9mm handgun for protection.

I’m glad the Affordable Care Act is going into effect. Maybe, some people will stop using Facebook and Twitter as a substitute for psychiatric care.

SYFY cancelled the show Alphas. I thought it was already cancelled. Farewell, Fringe! That is a show that will be missed. Welcome to, The Following premiering Monday on Fox. Hope you are worth all the hype.

Parents shouldn’t become their children’s friend until the child has moved out of the house and have a job. Even then think about it. As long as they are a minor living at home they should have definite rules, boundaries, and expectations of behavior. In fact, a child should have a little fear of their parent. Fear is GOOD!

John Boehner will go down in US history as the weakest leader of a political party, EVER! He has allowed a radical minority to set the agenda in his party and thereby grind the legislative machine to a halt. It’s bad enough that the machine was slow before, now it is frozen and barely has a pulse.

Scandal is destination television! It is the best television drama to come out in the past decade. If you are not already a “Gladiator” you are missing out! Shonda Rimes is a genius and the cast deserves all the awards they can get!
