A little overdue I think. Prepaid cards are convenient and the only form of “banking” many people have access to. The hidden/excessive fees associated to some of the cards has been known for a while now to those who use them. There are prepaid cards however that do not have as many fees and that is where doing some independent research on the ‘net comes in handy.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. The following chart brings to light just how big AT&T will be if the merger is approved and based on where you live how your provider choices will be affected.

The news of the swelling of the Missouri River has been a featured story in the national news. It affects me personally because I live in an area bordering the river. I have spent the past two or so weeks volunteering filling sandbags. When I spotted this article, it brought the situation into a whole new light for me. This is a heart wrenching story. Prayers to Pinhook, MO and everyone else hit by this event.

Last night’s Unsung also featured the beautiful Cherelle. Cherelle with Alexander O’Neal is one of the greatest duets of all time and created some of the classic music that became the soundtrack of the ’80’s. From Cherelle’s 1985 album, High Priority, Saturday Love.
One of the best shows on television is TV One’s “Unsung.” Each week the show focuses on a notable & legendary R&B or Rap artist. This week “Unsung” focused on Alexander O’Neal. If you are from my generation, you probably jammed hard to his music. Catch “Unsung” every Monday at 10e/9c. From his 1987 album Hearsay, this is “Criticize.”
Now all scientists have to do is to develop medicines that manipulate the genes to prevent high blood pressure, diabetes, and other related diseases.
I endorse the Consumers Union action but in the end the responsibility to monitor children’s access to social media and the internet resides with PARENTS.
