Ciara’s trying to stay relevant. The costuming is not the greatest. “Fly” fanny pack and high-heeled Chuck Taylor’s? That’s ratchetness. The stepping tho is fierce and she’s looking fine as ever. Note to Ciara: stick to modelling for Wilhelmina for now until you get your sound straight. I think she missed the boat.

Okay, Cudi is trying to be a low rent Jimi Hendrix. Kanye is being Kanye. Unfortunately, this song is nowhere near the creativity of his début, Day and Night from Man on the Moon: The End of Day or his mix tape, A Kid Named Cudi. if this is an indicator of his November release, Man on the Moon: The End of Day 2 I think I will pass. I will let you know when I listen to the CD.

More black people jailed in England and Wales proportionally than in US
I would like to hear from the family in the UK on this one. What I found interesting is that some in the United Kingdom admit that this is the “…result of decades of racial prejudice in the criminal justice system and an overly punitive approach to penal affairs.” The bluntness and honesty of that statement is refreshing. However, how can we solve this problem? This article really drives home the fact that both the United Kingdom and the United States face some of the same issues about race and incarceration.

Google’s investment in green technology is laudable. They are essentially investing in the “last mile” to the power grid. It makes off-shore wind power generation a more attractive investment since connecting to the grid is a costly proposition. This is another step towards energy independence from oil in America.
Morehouse’s President Responds to Vibe Article

Dr. Franklin has a valid view-point. Morehouse is turning boys into MEN, regardless of sexual orientation. There is an expectation of dress and behavior in the real world. There is an expectation of dress and behavior to get and maintain employment. It stands to reason that Morehouse or any educational institution should also have a guideline of dress and behavior to help prepare their students for what they will face when they are out in the professional world, regardless of sexual orientation.
